Who We Are

Fox Valley Hands of Hope (FVHH) is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization that provides compassionate guidance and support to the grieving, at no-cost to clients.

We are based in Geneva, but serve all of Kane County and parts of DuPage, Kendall, Cook, and McHenry Counties. We raise money through events like Endeavor to keep our services free of charge to all clients. We are the only provider of cost-free, grief specific programing in the area.

Why We Like Art

Well who doesn’t like art!?

More seriously though, art can be used as a form of expressive therapy. The process of creating is a valuable resource for people to discover emotions they feel towards things or events. FVHH utilizes many art activities across all programs to help clients identify their grief and work through those feelings. Through Endeavor, we recognize the importance of art and the talented artists in our communities who help us recognize our feelings and inspire us through their craft.

This Year's Event

This year, local artists will showcase their interpretation of the theme Transformative Transitions.

Art will be judged by a panel of judges who are experts in the field. Some artists will receive awards!

All the judged art will be up for silent auction. Attendees can place their bid amounts on sheets of paper provided at the event.

Along with the show and auction, attendees can enjoy food, drinks, and a special FVHH client gallery showcase!

Last Year's Event

Last year, we showcased 28 artists who followed the theme of Light Through Darkness.

Along with the show and auction, attendees enjoyed food, drinks, music, and some artists receive awards for their work!
