Legacy Giving
Fox Valley Hands of Hope’s continued success is thanks to our ability to build ongoing, sustainable sources of funding. Gifts large and small are important. Making a contribution through your estate planning is a great way to thank an organization or person who has impacted your life.
There are several ways to make a bequest and many different types of property that can be contributed. This includes cash, appreciated securities, works of art, and real estate.
Here are some reasons to create a bequest or initiate planned giving:
- You have the personal satisfaction of making a substantial contribution to a charitable organization you have valued during your lifetime.
- You receive gratification that comes from knowing that your gift will help others.
- You may reduce or even eliminate federal estate and/or inheritance taxes (consult with your accountant or qualified representative).
