Your caregiving journey has concluded. Now what?

You spent substantial time and even dedicated your life to helping someone through their final days. Now that they’re gone, how do you move through your grief and renew your own life? We can help you figure it out.

A licensed clinician supervises all programs and will assist you to determine your needs. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the services listed below.

Individual grief services include meeting with a clinician for short-term, individual grief counseling, or with an FVHH volunteer who is extensively trained in all aspects of grief support.

The work with a FVHH volunteer is focused on facilitating a grief companioning relationship for up for 12 months, which provides a listening and supportive ear while identifying additional resources as needed during this difficult time. Meeting with a volunteer is recommended for those who have made progress in their grief process already but need ongoing supportive conversations.

This ongoing monthly support program is for caregivers who are seeking a new life after their caregiving role has concluded. Life After Caregiving addresses topics such as navigating through grief and the loss of your role as a caregiver. This is an open group; however, registration is required.
