Please join the FVHH Board and staff in welcoming our new Executive Director, Jonathan Shively!
The FVHH Board has chosen Jonathan because they see him as a truly caring leader, learner, and listener, whose personal experiences have provided him with great perspective for this role.
Jonathan delivers an extensive background in organizational leadership, development, and fundraising. For the last 17 years of his career he has demonstrated an ability to inspire achievement amongst staff and volunteers, build relationships between diverse constituents, maintain fiscal responsibility, and nurture environments of compassion.
When asked what inspired Jonathan to work for FVHH’s mission he remarked, “Throughout my life I’ve experienced a number of significant personal losses and have accompanied others on the pathway of grief and healing. I love FVHH’s mission of compassionate grief support and accompaniment through loss because I believe that healing, individually and collectively, begins when we journey through losses and grief together. I want to be part of healing people’s lives, and healing our communities. It is a privilege to join FVHH in this work.”
If you have any questions for Jonathan, or if you would like to welcome him personally, he can be reached at, jshively@fvhh.net or at 630.232.2233 ext. 1211.
