“Hope, First Hand” is a blog aimed at inspiring and educating those interested in the work of Fox Valley Hands of Hope. For almost 40 years Fox Valley Hands of Hope has remained committed to providing compassionate guidance and support for the grieving. We have the distinct pleasure of meeting a multitude gracious, brave, and supportive people through our work. While our brochures, flyers, and social media posts give a good glimpse into the services we provide, there is so much more beauty in the stories we have culminated in our last 38 years. In this space you will find first-hand experiences, testimonials, and discussions from the many people that have walked through our door, as well as the volunteers and clinicians that have molded Fox Valley Hands of Hope to what it is today. Additionally, this blog will cover current topics in the realm of mental health, and what parts we play in in creating an environment of mental wellness in our communities.

At Fox Valley Hands of Hope we believe that every person should be given hope without any restriction. We strive to provide that sense of hope with the stories we tell here!
